Grandma’s Pizza Baguettes

Brown and cook one small pkg of Breakfast Sausage, drain.
1 can (8 to 10 oz) tomato sauce
1 small can sliced black olives
1 small can chopped mushrooms or fresh 1/2 cup chopped (optional)
12 oz shredded mozzarella chreese
about 1/3 cup olive oil if needed
Mix together in large skillet (with no heat added)
Slice bagettes in 1/3 inch slices. Toast slightly under broiler.
Spread tomato mixture on bagettes and return to oven at 450 degrees for about 8 minutes.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese while hot.
(Note: Tomato mixture can be frozen and then thawed to make just part of a recipe.

This recipe uses almost 2 bagettes–that’s a lot!)
This is so easy that children can make their own after school snacks if tomato mixture is previously made and kept in the refrigerator. Lasts about 1 week.
