Peppered Cheese Bread

Preheat 350
Coat a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray
Then evenly sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese into
the bottom of the Pan.

In a Large bowl, combine:
3 Cups Flour
1 Tblsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Stir in 1 cup shredded or crumbed cheddar cheese.
( colby jack works great too )

In a Medium bowl, combine:
1 1/4 cup Whole or 2% Milk
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
( if you don’t have, use more sour cream )
1 Egg
3 Tblsp butter ( melted and cooled )

Gently add the milk mixture into the flour mixture.
Do not over mix.
Pour into Loaf pan and level.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese over the top.

Bake 40 – 50 minutes.
This Bread tastes like a peppery biscuit.
We love to have it with Soups, etc.
Although, our oldest son would prefer we had it with every dinner.
