Lisa’s Granola

3 cups Quaker Oats (not quick oats)
6 Tbls Brown Sugar
2 cups nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, etc.)
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4- 1/2 cup flax seed
1/2 -1/2 cup oat bran or wheat germ
Mix dry ingredients together, then add 1/4 cup canola oil and 6 Tbls maple syrup into dry mixture.
Place in roasting pan at 250 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  Stir every 15 minutes while cooking.  Cool and add cranberries or rasins to taste.
Store Air Tight…makes approximately 2.6 liters
